{"id":154909,"date":"2011-09-07T22:19:00","date_gmt":"2011-09-07T22:19:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bd544e5f-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e"},"modified":"2011-09-07T22:19:00","modified_gmt":"2011-09-07T22:19:00","slug":"bd544e73-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/bd544e73-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e\/","title":{"rendered":"Man arrested for beating up ex and relentlessly harassing her"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A 43-year-old man was arrested late Tuesday afternoon after he allegedly relentlessly harassed his former girlfriend and beating her up.<\/p>\n<p>Lucian Ignacio George also allegedly threatened several times to kill himself in front of the victim.<\/p>\n<p>George was arrested for assault, assault and battery, and disturbing the peace.<\/p>\n<p>At yesterday\u2019s hearing, Superior Court associate judge David Wiseman imposed a $1,750 cash for George\u2019s temporary release. Preliminary hearing will be on Sept. 15.<\/p>\n<p>Detective Peter A. Aldan stated in his report that throughout the relationship, whenever George gets drunk, he would take a knife and threaten to kill himself to show his love for her.<\/p>\n<p>When the relationship ended, George allegedly kept calling the victim on her cell phone and at work. One time, George choked the victim and pinned her against a car.<\/p>\n<p>In July 2011, the victim sought a temporary restraining order after George kept stalking her at her workplace.
