Benigno R. Fitial\u2019s appointees to serve on the Commonwealth Development Authority\u2019s board of directors, paving the way for CDA board to act on important projects.<\/p>\n<p>During a session, senators confirmed Tom Glen Quitugua and Edwin P. Aldan to serve on the CDA board.  <\/p>\n<p>Quitugua represents Rota on the board, and his term will expire on April 21, 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Aldan, representing Tinian, will serve Nathan Quichocho&#8217;s remaining term on the CDA board that will expire on July 8, 2014.<\/p>\n<p>After senators confirmed the two, Senate President Paul Manglona (Ind-Rota) wrote a letter to he governor of the Senate\u2019s decision.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUpon review of the nominations, the Senate is confident that they will carry out their responsibilities with distinction and to the best of their abilities,\u201d Manglona told the governor.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Senate confirmed yesterday two of Gov.
