The Blue Haus Invitational Basketball League championship tiff set between Cell Pro and Micronesian Brokers, Inc. will take place at the Garapan Basketball Court at 7pm this Sunday.<\/p>\n
The awards presentation will be held after conclusion of the finale match.<\/p>\n
The league has postponed the finals due to rains.<\/p>\n
While games were played on Gualo Rai up to this point, organizers moved the finals to Garapan.<\/p>\n
The Blue Haus league started with 21 teams divided into three separate divisions.<\/p>\n
Top-ranked MBI went undefeated in the A division and knocked off Cell Pro and third finalist, Sherwin Williams, in the playoffs.<\/p>\n
MBI kept extending its flawless streak into the playoffs with a 71-66 triumph over Sherwin Williams last Sept. 16 and went on to boast a solid 71-59 victory over Cell Pro in their first meeting last Sept. 19.<\/p>\n
Cell Pro, however, would rebound and eliminated Sherwin Williams, 75-71, last Sept. 23 to earn another shot at the top seed.<\/p>\n
To make thing even more interesting, organizers have since lifted MBI\u2019s twice-to beat advantage and thus Sunday\u2019s game will be played for all the marbles.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
