Tenorio, Emergency Services director of the American Red Cross, NMI Chapter stated that they felt these kits would be put to good use in the schools\u2014many of which double as evacuation shelters during typhoons.  <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe success of our chapter in the NMI is due in large part to the great partnerships we have forged with both government and private agencies over the years, and this is our way of saying thank you for all the support we have received,\u201d Tenorio added.<\/p>\n<p>If you or someone you know would like to volunteer or donate, contact the local American Red Cross Chapter at 234-3459 or visit their website at www.nmi.redcross.org.
