Inos imposed a 90-day sentence on a man who beat up his girlfriend after a drinking session in Koblerville.<\/p>\n<p>Inos on Monday sentenced Julio Litulumar Emangmai to three years in prison, all suspended except for 90 days, for assault with a dangerous weapon, with credit for time served. This mean the 25-year-old Emangmai will no longer serve further jail time.<\/p>\n<p>Emangmai was placed on probation for three years, ordered to pay a $250 fine, $100 court assessment fee, plus a probation fee, required to perform 200 hours of community service, and complete anger management counseling.<\/p>\n<p>The Office of the Attorney General had charged him with assault with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery, and disturbing the peace. He pleaded guilty to assault with a dangerous weapon; the remaining charges were dismissed.<\/p>\n<p>Emangmai beat up his girlfriend on Aug. 2, 2011, on Saipan.<\/p>\n<p>Police officers responded to Alaguan Street in Koblerville at 5:23pm after police received a disturbance call. When two officers arrived at the house, they saw the victim on the ground.<\/p>\n<p>The victim told police that Emangmai repeatedly slapped her and then hit her back several times with a broomstick.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Superior Court associate judge Perry B.
