{"id":156942,"date":"2011-11-25T21:17:00","date_gmt":"2011-11-25T21:17:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bdaa8273-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e"},"modified":"2011-11-25T21:17:00","modified_gmt":"2011-11-25T21:17:00","slug":"bdaa8284-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/bdaa8284-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e\/","title":{"rendered":"3 RBC players are top scorers in Guam tourney"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Rollers Basketball Club\u2019s Wilfred Francisco, Keolani Rose Rios, and Jun Christopher Fidelino made it on the 2011 Take Care Thanksgiving Hoop Fest\u2019s daily top scorers list after the conclusion of their double-header matches at  Guam\u2019s Tamuning Gymnasium.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, RBC\u2019s U12, U14B, U16-U18B, and U16A squads all notched a pair of wins Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Rollers\u2019 Wilfred Francisco was the top scorer of the day in his Turkey Run\u2019s U14B coed recreation matches, bagging 24 points for a 12-point average in two games.<\/p>\n<p>His teammate Jun Christopher Fidelino averaged six points per game, which was good for third place.<\/p>\n<p>Rios fared well in her two Turkey Fly and Shoot U16-U18B coed recreation matches, tallying a total of 18 points for second place.<\/p>\n<p>Turkey Dash\u2019s U12 coed division RBC Rollers defeated the Mongmong Toto Maite Falcons, 38-13, and then took down the Tamuning Typhoons, 36-23, in their second pairing. Six teams make up the field.<\/p>\n<p>Turkey Run\u2019s U14B recreation division Rollers defeated the Typhoons 1, 32-19, and then bested the Typhoons 2, 38-16. Four teams make up the age group.<\/p>\n<p>Turkey Fly and Shoot\u2019s U16-U18B recreation division Rollers routed the Typhoons, 42-11, and then outlasted the MTM Boy\u2019s Falcons, 29-21. Four teams make up the field.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Turkey Shoot\u2019s U18 competitive division Rollers absorbed a 36-64 loss to the Typhoons. A total of 11 teams make up the division.<\/p>\n<p>Results of Turkey Run\u2019s 14A competitive division and Turkey Blast\u2019s U25 competitive division were not posted as of press time. <\/p>\n<p>Eight teams make up the U14A class, while the U25 field contains five squads.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, none of Friday\u2019s results were posted as of press time. However the U12 coed Rollers were set to face off with the Raiders Club in an elimination game. In order to advance to Saturday\u2019s round of games they will also have to make it past the winner between the Inarajan Hawks and Southern Rai. <\/p>\n<p>U14A\u2019s Rollers were the seventh seed in the competitive bracket and faced the second-ranked Typhoons.
