Torres, is suing Himawari Saipan Inc. for negligence. She is demanding unspecified damages, attorney\u2019s fees, and court costs.<\/p>\n<p>Himawari operates a store, bakery, and restaurant.<\/p>\n<p>Saipan Tribune contacted Himawari yesterday for comment, but one of its owners, Tatsuhito Suzuki, was not available as of press time. <\/p>\n<p>Torres stated in the complaint that Velasco was walking toward Himawari from the parking lot, on March 14, 2011, when she tripped over a bended rebar that was protruding but was not adequately visible. Torres said that Velasco fell to the ground and sustained unspecified injuries. <\/p>\n<p>The lawyer said that Himawari failed to provide any sign whatsoever that there was a bended rebar in the way and intruding upon the customers\u2019 pathway.
