Joeten Shopping Center has opened a new section at its Susupe location, catering to the hip and fashionable teenagers and pre-teens on Saipan.<\/p>\n
Teen Corner, which carries a wide range of styles for the younger crowd, was officially opened to the public last Friday.<\/p>\n
The idea of putting together a section specially meant for adolescents came about as the popular retailer took on the daunting task of arranging their clothing merchandise.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhat we\u2019re trying to work on in the store is kind of organizing things more and spreading out clothing and we wanted to dedicate a section to the teens so we saw this as an opportunity to make changes,\u201d said marketing manager Frannie Demapan yesterday.<\/p>\n
Demapan, who came on board in October, said they want their patrons to know that the Joeten Shopping Center in Susupe carries fashionable clothing for teens and pre-teens at reasonable prices.<\/p>\n
Teen Corner offers an array of clothes and outfits, including tops, dresses, shorts, pants, undergarments, and formal wear. It also provides a selection of accessories like bags, wallets, and footwear in different styles, colors, and textures.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are a one-stop shopping location,\u201d Demapan told Saipan Tribune. \u201cYou can come here for clothing but you can leave with shoes, underwear, even gifts for other members of the family. They can find everything they need right here.\u201d<\/p>\n
Demapan noted that their prices are highly competitive, with only some of the items a bit more expensive as they are made in the U.S. mainland \u201cso we have to adjust to that.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cBut during sale days, our prices are pretty decent,\u201d she added. <\/p>\n
In fact, Demapan said they also opened a clearance corner next to Bestseller for those who are looking for great deals and bargains for men, women, teens, and babies this holiday.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey can go there and all our items are 50 to 75 percent off,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Demapan said that Joeten goes on a bulk buying trip several times a year so customers can expect to see different styles as often as they want. \u201cI just want people to know that we\u2019re still expanding it,\u201d she said. \u201cWe\u2019re always adding new items and\u2026people should check in every week with us.\u201d<\/p>\n
Demapan, who once taught at Kagman High School, added that she will have the hottest trends in fashion when she acquires new stocks for their next shipment early next year.<\/p>\n
While the Teen Corner is dedicated exclusively for teens and pre-teens, Demapan pointed out that the Joeten Shopping Center appeals to shoppers of all ages.<\/p>\n
With the holidays just around the corner, Demapan disclosed that they will host a Christmas Fashion Show at their Susupe location on Dec. 17 at 7pm to give patrons a chance to view the latest trends.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re currently looking for models for men, women, teens, pre-teens, toddlers, and plus sizes. We\u2019d like them to come showcase our clothing. They\u2019ll be rewarded with a gift certificate and a clothing of their choice,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
