Guerrero of Karidat Social Services said that violence, abuse, and burglary cases are on the rise during the holidays and the beginning of the school year due to the financial stress it gives people.<\/p>\n<p>But Guerrero noted that victims of domestic violence coming out in the open is an upshot of the awareness campaign against it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re doing more awareness campaign, giving people the courage to come out.
