Palacios\u2019 cellphone calls"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Office of the Attorney General is seeking information from IT&#038;E regarding the telephone number used by Rep. Raymond Demapan Palacios for a certain period.<\/p>\n<p>The Superior Court\u2019s clerk of court issued a subpoena to IT&#038;E upon OAG\u2019s application pursuant to Commonwealth Rule of Criminal Procedure.<\/p>\n<p>The court commanded IT&#038;E to provide within seven days to the OAG\u2019s Criminal Division, subscriber information, toll records, and call logs for Palacios\u2019 cellphone for the period of Oct. 19, 2011.<\/p>\n<p>The court informed IT&#038;E that failure to comply with the subpoena may constitute the crime of contempt of court and a warrant may be issued for an arrest.<\/p>\n<p>According to police reports, members of the Drug Enforcement Task Force and Department of Public Safety\u2019s Criminal Investigation Bureau used a confidential source to buy a total of $200 worth of \u201cice\u201d from Palacios in two transactions that occurred on Oct. 19, 2011.<\/p>\n<p>Palacios, 48, is out on bail after posting $3,000 cash and $27,000 unsecured  bond. Police arrested the lawmaker last October 28. <\/p>\n<p>Palacios pleaded not guilty to the information charging him with trafficking and illegal possession of controlled substance.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Office of the Attorney General is seeking information from IT&#038;E regarding the telephone number used by Rep.
