{"id":157643,"date":"2011-12-26T18:20:00","date_gmt":"2011-12-26T18:20:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bdcbe66f-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e"},"modified":"2011-12-26T18:20:00","modified_gmt":"2011-12-26T18:20:00","slug":"bdcbe67f-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/bdcbe67f-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e\/","title":{"rendered":"Bad message"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The recent article regarding only six House of Representative members submitting to a drug test sends a very bad image on the lower house of the CNMI Legislature. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>If the members of this chamber have nothing to hide then why are they not getting a drug test. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Certainty, the system is not fair because all government employees or prospective employees must go through a drug test, why in the world doesn&#8217;t this requirement apply to these elected officials. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>If they were really honest and have nothing to hide then they should pass a law requiring all elected officials to pass a drug test before they are sworn into office or receive a penny of their salary. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The CNMI Legislature is a joke and they are sending a bad message to the children of this community.
