{"id":158498,"date":"2012-01-29T21:57:00","date_gmt":"2012-01-29T21:57:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/be0b0b8c-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e"},"modified":"2012-01-29T21:57:00","modified_gmt":"2012-01-29T21:57:00","slug":"be0b0b9c-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/be0b0b9c-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e\/","title":{"rendered":"Santa Remedios fundraiser golf tourney March 24"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Sister Remedios Parish Pastoral Council is holding a  fundraising golf tournament on March 24.<\/p>\n<p>Proceeds of the event will be used for renovations and repairs to the church in Tanapag.<\/p>\n<p>Venue for the competition has yet to be determined, however the parish is requesting local golf organizations to reserve the weekend for the fundraiser. Entrance fee is $100 per person and $90 for early birds that register at least a week in advance.<\/p>\n<p>Trophies and cash prizes will be awarded to the Top 3 placers and various consolation prizes will also be up for grabs.<\/p>\n<p>The parish plans to improve the church\u2019s surrounding area to create a more beautiful ambience; renovate the parking lot to increase the spaces available, the front entrance to enable easy access during funeral services, and front walkway to integrate a portico structure to the church;  and construct a chapel in the Tanapag cemetery to provide shelter during outdoor services.<\/p>\n<p>Sister Remedios in Tanapag did not put on a fundraising tournament last year, but have done so in the past.
