Marianas High School\u2019s Varsity Lady Dolphins (MHS1) shut out its sister team MHS2, 3-0, in Tuesday\u2019s Marianas Interscholastic Sports Organization girls soccer matchup at the Oleai Sports Complex Field.<\/p>\n
MHS1 midfielder Alodia Lumasag led the Lady Dolphins with two goals late in the first half.<\/p>\n
Lumasag drew first blood in the 20th minute and then found the back of the net again in the 30th minute of the opening period.<\/p>\n
MHS1 called off the dogs after the break, but MHS1\u2019s Charnessa Lizama nailed in the coffin to lift the Varsity Lady Dolphins, 3-0, with just three minutes left in the game.<\/p>\n
MHS1 improved its flawless streak to four, while the school\u2019s junior varsity absorbed its fourth loss thus far.<\/p>\n
The season continues today at 4:30pm with the Saipan Southern High School Lady Manta Rays taking on the Lady Ayuyus of Kagman High School.<\/p>\n
Both teams share win-loss-draw records of 1-1-1, and stalemated a null draw in their first meeting.<\/p>\n
In related news, the MISO postseason double-elimination tournament is approaching and Tinian High School is expected to turn out this year.<\/p>\n
MISO organizers are currently working with the Northern Mariana Islands Football Association to see if they can have a representative coach from the visiting Chelsea Football Club visit Tinian.<\/p>\n
The visiting coach can offer advice and provide game strategy to Tinian\u2019s novice coaching staff and perhaps conduct a youth clinic to teach the students some fundamental skills and training drills.<\/p>\n
The Chelsea Football Club Soccer School is a campus in Hong Kong that serves as a satellite school from the Chelsea Football Club based in Fulhum, West London in England. <\/p>\n
The Hong Kong branch stared in 2005 by former soccer pro Leslie George Santos as Santos Soccer Training Limited Hong Kong.<\/p>\n
Santos played out a fruitful career in Hong Kong and started the training program upon retirement.<\/p>\n
