{"id":159090,"date":"2012-02-21T21:15:00","date_gmt":"2012-02-21T21:15:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/be3e1281-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e"},"modified":"2012-02-21T21:15:00","modified_gmt":"2012-02-21T21:15:00","slug":"be3e1295-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/be3e1295-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e\/","title":{"rendered":"Sagamihara West Rotarian visits Saipan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A member of the Rotary Club of Sagamihara West in Japan is on Saipan to enjoy the island\u2019s panoramic golf courses and meet with fellow Rotarians.<\/p>\n<p>Takumi Ito presented the Sagamihara West flag to acting Saipan Rotary Club president Pete Shilling during their general membership meeting yesterday at Hyatt Regency Saipan\u2019s Giovanni\u2019s Restaurant.<\/p>\n<p>Ito said that he is on island for a weeklong stay.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI became a Rotarian three years ago and now I\u2019m enjoying the Rotary life,\u201d said Ito, who is on his second visit to Saipan.<\/p>\n<p>Ito said the Sagamihara West Rotary Club is one of 11 clubs in the city near Yokohama.
