The federal court granted yesterday the request of the U.S. Probation Office to delay the sentencing of Franz B. Reksid, a former Department of Public Lands special assistant who was found guilty of accepting a $3,000 bribe from a private company that obtained a federally funded contract from DPL.<\/p>\n
U.S. District Court for the NMI Chief Judge Ramona V. Manglona said that Reksid\u2019s sentencing hearing will be moved from March 13, 2012 to April 24, 2012.<\/p>\n
Manglona gave the U.S. Probation Office until today, March 6, to file a presentence investigation report.<\/p>\n
U.S. Probation Officer Margarita Wonenberg on Thursday made the request to reset the sentencing hearing to allow her to complete the presentence investigation report.<\/p>\n
