Due to inclement weather, event organizers and its steering committee announced that the Rota San Isidro Fishing Derby is canceled and will be rescheduled at a later date. <\/p>\n
The sporting event was originally scheduled for yesterday and today to run alongside Rota\u2019s San Isidro Fiesta held in Sinapalo village.<\/p>\n
All participants that have already registered are kindly requested to provide their contact numbers in Guam to Manny Duenas of the Guam Fishing Cooperative Association at (671)-472-6323; and for Saipan to Richard B. Seman, CNMI Division of Fish and Wildlife at 285-6003 so that they will all be informed of the reschedule date of the anticipated competition.<\/p>\n
Proceeds raised from the event will go toward helping raise funds to build a new social hall and provide improved living accommodations for reverend monsignor Louis Antonelly. <\/p>\n
Due to the circumstances, the committee is extending the registration date to accommodate additional interested participants.
