MPU Silver opened the league with a rousing 15-0 win over Shirley\u2019s Football Club.<\/p>\n<p>Dakota Hall drilled back-to-back goals early in the first half and then a few minutes later, it was John Joyner\u2019s turn to score two straight goals. Ryota Ito made it a 5-0 count with his first and lone goal, while Brian Lee and John Taisacan added one each to end the first half with MPU Silver way ahead, 7-0.<br \/>\n[B]<br \/>\nPaire 5, Matansa 4[\/B]<\/p>\n<p>Also moving up to a 2-0 record in the boys U15 division was Paire FC, which slipped past Matansa.<\/p>\n<p>Paire, which clobbered Tan Holdings FC in Week 1, 12-0, got a winning goal from Hunter Jewell to recover from a 2-3 deficit and steal the win. The goal in the second half was Jewell\u2019s lone conversation in the game. <\/p>\n<p>Scott Kim nailed Paire\u2019s twin goals in the first half, while Ryu Tanzawa also had two and Sean Perez added one to put Matansa in front at the break.<\/p>\n<p>In the second half, Matansa only had one goal, courtesy of Perez, while Kim, Joel Fruit, and Jewell drained one each to give Paire a 2-0 start in the league. Matansa dropped to a 1-1 card, failing to make a follow-up on its 6-0 win over MPU Blue.<\/p>\n<p>[B]Tan Holdings 3, Shirley\u2019s FC 2[\/B]<\/p>\n<p>Tan Holdings recovered from its season-opening loss after downing Shirley\u2019s FC.<\/p>\n<p>Ryan Christian Relucio delivered the winning goal for Tan Holdings, scoring in the 63rd minute, six minutes after Shirley\u2019s Yoneil Manacop tied the game, 2-2.<\/p>\n<p>Shirley\u2019s other goal came from Edward Cordero in the 22nd minute to hold the lead for more than 10 minutes before Jeremie Tanghal scored the equalizer for Tan Holdings in the 34th minute.<\/p>\n<p>The game remained tied early in the second half before Joshua Galarion lit up the scoreboard in the 48th minute to Tan Holdings in the driver\u2019s seat.<\/p>\n<p>[B]BOYS U18<\/p>\n<p>MP United 9, Tan Holdings 5[\/B]<\/p>\n<p>Still at the Oleai pitch, boys U18 defending champion MP United (2-0) triumphed over Tan Holdings FC.<\/p>\n<p>Tan Holdings was still in the game in the first half, behind by only one, 1-2, when MP United turned on the heat in the second half for the easy win.<\/p>\n<p>Clay McCullough-Stearns and Paul Yoon led the breakaway in the second half, firing two goals apiece.<\/p>\n<p>Unsa Tanapon had a hat-trick for Tan Holdings, but it was not enough to prevent his team from falling to a 0-2 record.<\/p>\n<p>[B]Paire 9, Matansa 0[\/B]<\/p>\n<p>Paire shared the lead with MP United after shutting out Matansa in the other boys U18 game.<\/p>\n<p>Colin Fruit, Thomas Lee, and Jireh Yobech tallied two goals apiece to help Paire crush  Matansa.
