{"id":160505,"date":"2012-04-17T22:47:00","date_gmt":"2012-04-17T22:47:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bf66fc6e-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e"},"modified":"2012-04-17T22:47:00","modified_gmt":"2012-04-17T22:47:00","slug":"bf66fc7e-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/bf66fc7e-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e\/","title":{"rendered":"Basa pre-files concurrent resolution for 2013 budget"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>House Ways and Means Committee chair Ray Basa (Cov-Saipan) introduced yesterday House Concurrent Resolution 17-4 to approve a fiscal year 2013 budget, a measure that Speaker Eli Cabrera (R-Saipan) said would be acted on during the next session.<\/p>\n<p>Fiscal year 2013 is from Oct. 1, 2012, to Sept. 30, 2013.<\/p>\n<p>Gov. Benigno R. Fitial submitted to the Legislature on March 30 a 2013 budget of $102 million, the same level as that of 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Under the governor\u2019s submission, the total projected resource for 2013 is $120.671 million. Of this amount, $102 million is available for government operations.
