19th Hole Bar & Grill\u2019s Titans and Jonny\u2019s Bar & Grill\u2019s IT&E Voyagers remain the favorites in their respective Obyan and Agingan divisions as the Saipan Billiard Association\u2019s Budweiser Cup \u201crace-to-nine\u201d postseason tournament started last week.<\/p>\n
Obyan\u2019s Titans were recently issued a first place finish after completion of the regular season by coming out on top of a pivotal tiebreaker against Jonny\u2019s Bar & Grill\u2019s Team SCS. <\/p>\n
The Titans went on to outlast their rivals, 9-7, again in a tight road match last Tuesday to advance to the second round.<\/p>\n
The Titans now must go through Poseidon\u2019s Yang-Ku, and then surpass Jonny\u2019s Crazy 8, which eliminated Shark Attack, 9-7, in a road draw held at Wild Bill\u2019s Bar & Grill last week in order to make the finals. <\/p>\n
In addition, Joe\u2019s Steakhouse\u2019s Fotten Palau ousted 19th Hole\u2019s Poksu, 9-2, on the road last Tuesday to advance to the semifinal where they will be paired against Bammy\u2019s Restaurant Bar & Grill\u2019s Boom Boom, which downed The Water Front, 7-3, at home last Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Agingan\u2019s defending champion IT&E Voyagers is also still alive after after knocking out the Docomo Pacific Home Boyz, 9-4, in a road match at Poseidon last Tuesday to advance to the second round. <\/p>\n
It will duel New Saipan Aluminum\u2019s Hustlers at Utopia Sports Bar in the next round. Bammy\u2019s IT&E Incredibles will also face off against Ocean Warriors in the other semifinal pairing at Joe\u2019s. <\/p>\n
