Police have already identified the suspect in the burglary at the U.S. Army Reserve Center\u2019s troop store in Puerto Rico, Saipan, Saipan Tribune learned yesterday.<\/p>\n
Sources at the Department of Public Safety disclosed that a Superior Court judge has already issued a warrant for the arrest of the suspect on charges of burglary, theft, and criminal mischief.<\/p>\n
In issuing the arrest warrant, the judge imposed an $11,250 cash bail, sources said.<\/p>\n
Sources said the suspect was also arrested in 2011 after a surveillance camera caught him and another companion in the act of stealing some flat screen TV sets and other items from an establishment.<\/p>\n
Saipan Tribune is opting not to divulge the suspect\u2019s identity until there is police confirmation that he has already been served with the arrest warrant.<\/p>\n
The U.S. Army Reserve Center\u2019s troop store was burglarized on May 30 and the suspect was caught on surveillance camera committing the crime.<\/p>\n
Reported stolen were a 32-inch Panasonic LCD flat screen TV, HP 201 monitors, and Bose portable music systems, all estimated to cost over $1,500.<\/p>\n
Police described the suspect as a light-skinned male, in his mid-20\u2019s to early 30\u2019s, about 5\u20197\u201d to 5\u201910\u201d tall, 170 to 180 lbs in weight, and with a mustache and goatee.<\/p>\n
