Ogumoro said police would be conducting the Aggressive Driver Interdiction Program or ADIP.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose pf this program is to deter and detect aggressive drivers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe must be vigilant in monitoring the streets in our community for other law-abiding citizens. We must keep out streets and highways safe for all motorist and pedestrians,\u201d said Ogumoro.<\/p>\n<p>Drivers who exhibit aggressive driving traits endanger the community, he said.<\/p>\n<p>ADIP, which Ogumoro said will take effect immediately, is geared toward helping keep the roads safe from drivers who exhibits signs of aggressive driving or street racing.<\/p>\n<p>All department units, including Patrol, Traffic, Boat Safety Unit, Criminal Investigation Bureau, and the Motor Carrier Safety Unit will participate in this joint operation.<\/p>\n<p>Ogumoro advised the public to \u201cplease drive safely and observe all traffic laws.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Press Release Department of Public Safety acting commissioner Ambrosio T.
