I have love for all people especially my own kind. Love is expressed through my talents, the sharing of my talents, my experience, and my purpose in life.

I do not claim to be smart like Mr. Francisco R. Agulto of Kanat Tabla, nor claim to be a poly-scientist/economist, but I am thankful for God as he has granted me the opportunity to do what I love the most, which is me sharing my music with others. Through my music I learned that people can enjoin with each other through love.

I learned that people can still care for each other and look after one another’s interest when love is centered between us. But if we continue to have people like Mr. Agulto in our midst, we will fail because wisdom can tell us that such a kind often destroy, than to build up our life. They create schisms amongst people who have lived decades with each other. I suggest to you Mr. Agulto that you read the bible starting with the wise sayings found in the book of 1 Corinthians 13. There you will find what real love is.

If all men were not created equal, then you Mr. Agulto are saying that you are of a different kind, one above, or below others. One, I might add, of a supposedly much greater or lesser kind than what God has purposed all to have red blood in our system. Mr. Adolph Hitler killed millions of Jews to make a better Germany, but God did not permit him to succeed in his plan. Germany is now made up of different kinds of people, all living together harmoniously. It will still continue to have problems just as any other place, but at the very least they are able to work things out together rather than pointing fingers. The CNMI is no different than they are.

Slavery in the United States was abolished by virtue of “All men are created equal” and therefore, Thomas Jefferson’s slavery is put to an end. Apartheid in South Africa was crushed, so as segregation in the States also. You see Ankie, problems tend to arise when we want our cake and eat it too.

My favorite line when I was a radio personality was “My name is Frank, but when I grow up I’m gonna be Francisco” Or “You have to be Frank to be Francisco.” It actually meant being mature.

So Mr. Agulto although you claim to know the difference between equality of men and what not, and you yourself have not the love needed to view true equality, as you stand, you are nothing more than a harmonica blowing out of tune. That’s it folks…Peace and love to all.

Alexandro “Colonel” Sablan
Dandan, Saipan

I do not claim to know the rule of the universe, nor claim to be a scholar, but one thing I know and I am thankful for, is to know love as God also have love for me.
