Projects in the past have engaged students in stream monitoring, created sustainable mentoring communities, and provided professional development to teachers.<\/p>\n<p>Eligible organizations include local education agencies, colleges or universities, state education or environmental agencies, tribal education agencies, 501(C)(3) nonprofit organizations, and noncommercial educational broadcasting entities working in education.<\/p>\n<p>This competitive grants program will total $2.77 million.
