Gen. Benny M. Paulino, Adjutant General of the Guam National Guard. \u201cWe are looking forward to welcoming our heroes home.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The battalion\u2019s close to 600 soldiers deployed to Afghanistan early this year in support of Operation Enduring Freedom-Afghanistan.  <\/p>\n<p>Thirty-one airmen from the Guam Air National Guard\u2019s 254th Security Forces Squadron and four soldiers from the Guam Army National Guard\u2019s 1990th Contingency Contracting Team are still deployed during this holiday season in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
