{"id":174852,"date":"2014-01-01T21:52:00","date_gmt":"2014-01-01T21:52:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/c288109e-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e"},"modified":"2014-01-01T21:52:00","modified_gmt":"2014-01-01T21:52:00","slug":"c28810b2-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/c28810b2-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e\/","title":{"rendered":"CK, Susupe crime capital indeed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Department of Public Safety\u2019s crime statistics for 2013 showed that Chalan Kanoa and Susupe are indeed the crime capital of Saipan. <\/p>\n<p>According to DPS statistics released to the media, there were 3,105 criminal offenses reported last year, and most of the crimes or 1,129 were burglaries, robberies, and thefts.<\/p>\n<p>Of the 272 burglary cases, Chalan Kanoa was on top with 30, followed by Kagman with 25, and Dandan with 21.<\/p>\n<p>Of the eight robbery cases, Garapan was on top with 2.<\/p>\n<p>Of the 799 theft cases, Susupe was leading with 107, followed by Chalan Kanoa with 60, and Garapan with 56.<\/p>\n<p>The second most crime committed was disturbance with 693 disturbing the peace cases. Susupe has the most number with 78, followed by Chalan Kanoa with 53, and Koblerville with 50.<\/p>\n<p>DPS Commissioner James C.
