{"id":174918,"date":"2014-01-05T22:59:00","date_gmt":"2014-01-05T22:59:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/c28a064c-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e"},"modified":"2014-01-05T22:59:00","modified_gmt":"2014-01-05T22:59:00","slug":"c28a0662-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/c28a0662-1dfb-11e4-aedf-250bc8c9958e\/","title":{"rendered":"Chris Dods named FHB SVP, division chief"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>HAGATNA, Guam\u2014Chris Dods, a senior vice president in First Hawaiian Bank\u2019s Card Services Division, became senior vice president and Marketing Communications Division manager effective Jan. 2, 2014, according to an announcement by Bob Harrison, president and chief executive officer, First Hawaiian Bank.<\/p>\n<p>Dods replaces Brandt Farias, executive vice president and division manager, who retired on Nov. 1, 2013, after 28 years at the bank.<br \/>\n\u201cWe are pleased to have someone with Dods\u2019 proven leadership to oversee our Marketing Communications Division,\u201d said Harrison. \u201cHe brings with him an extensive background and breadth of experience in bank marketing and business development.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dods has over 16 years of experience in financial and business development management and joined First Hawaiian Bank in 2007 as an assistant vice president, business development new markets and technology. He was promoted to vice president, Card Services Division in 2009 and senior vice president and division manager in 2011 where he was responsible for directing the marketing and operations of the bank\u2019s credit and debit card programs. Prior to joining the bank, he was a business development manager with Mid Pac Petroleum.<\/p>\n<p>First Hawaiian Bank (FHB.com), with $16.7 billion in assets, was founded in 1858 and is Hawaii\u2019s oldest and largest bank. It has 57 branches in Hawaii, three in Guam and two on Saipan.
