The Saipan Mayor\u2019s Office is now accepting applications from students who would like to participate in a cultural exchange and homestay program in Japan, according to program coordinator Joann T. Aquino.<\/p>\n
She said that the students from Kokusai Seiyounen Kensyuu Kyokai or KSKK group is inviting 15 CNMI students and two chaperones to visit them in Japan.<\/p>\n
The trip will be on Oct. 9 to 15 and is open to students aged 8 to 14.<\/p>\n
Aquino said the students will have to pay for the trip and that the price has not been decided yet.<\/p>\n
\u201cI will be coming up with the price quotes from the airlines and we\u2019ll be notifying them soon on the airline fees,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Aquino said the students will be visiting the Sensouji Temple, Ueno Zoo, stay with host families for three days, and then go to the Tokyo Disneyland, which will cost $65 for entrance.<\/p>\n
