Clearing at what is now called Echo Runway at West Field will probably begin today by elements of Marine Air Group 12,\u201d said Don Farrell, chief of staff of Tinian Mayor Ramon Dela Cruz.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Marines are making sure that our cattlemen will be able to continue using the both the Broadway and 8th Avenue watering stations throughout the exercise. They will do this by focusing on clearing the northern taxiway first, leaving the existing \u2018road\u2019 through Runway Echo for cattlemen to carry water. Once the taxiway is cleared, they will shift work to Runway Echo. At that time, the cattlemen will be asked to use the taxiway for the duration of the exercise.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Marines are making access available for the cattlemen.
