Babauta, an ex-convict on federal probation who allegedly didn\u2019t comply with his supervision conditions again. <\/p>\n<p>Babauta was served with an arrest warrant on Wednesday. His initial hearing was on Friday afternoon before U.S. District Court for the NMI Magistrate Judge Heather L. Kennedy.<\/p>\n<p>The U.S. Probation sought anew to have Babauta\u2019s supervised release revoked after he submitted a diluted sample during a random drug test on July 14, 2014.<\/p>\n<p>U.S. probation officer Gregory Arriola informed the court that Babauta also failed to appear for counseling sessions on July 29, Aug. 2, Aug. 5, Aug. 6, and Aug. 7, 2014. <\/p>\n<p>He said the defendant did not appear for random drug testing on Aug. 3, 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Babauta also allegedly failed to follow the instructions by not submitting a monthly supervision report within the first week of August 2014 and not reporting to the U.S. Probation Office as directed.<\/p>\n<p>Last January, the federal court revoked Babauta\u2019s supervised release and slapped him with a six-month prison term for using illegal drugs and violating other terms of his probation. <\/p>\n<p>The federal court also ordered that after completing his prison term, Babauta would be placed on supervised release for 54 months.<\/p>\n<p>Babauta was one of seven prisoners who staged a 14-hour hostage drama at the Department of Corrections in Susupe in March 2009. At the time, he was serving a prison term for involuntary manslaughter over the killing of a Bangladeshi national in Chalan Kanoa. <\/p>\n<p>In August 1999, the federal court slapped Babauta with a 180-month prison sentence and five years of supervised release, for hostage taking and felon in possession of a firearm.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>U.S. Marshals arrested last week Ryan T.
