{"id":1782,"date":"2012-01-24T06:53:11","date_gmt":"2012-01-24T06:53:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/newspaper.ctsi-logistics.com\/?p=1782"},"modified":"2012-01-24T06:53:11","modified_gmt":"2012-01-24T06:53:11","slug":"military-to-conduct-training-at-wa517-fdm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/military-to-conduct-training-at-wa517-fdm\/","title":{"rendered":"Military to conduct training at WA517, FDM"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>By Press Release<a href=\"http:\/\/saipantribune.com\/contact.aspx?user_num=152\"><br \/>\n<\/a><\/div>\n<p>SANTA RITA, Guam-The U.S. Navy will conduct training at Warning Area 517 on Jan. 24-25 from 8am to 5pm.<\/p>\n<p>The U.S. Air Force will conduct training on the island of Farallon de Medinilla on Jan. 26 from 3pm to midnight.<\/p>\n<p>The general public-especially fishermen, commercial pilots and marine tour operators-are advised to stay clear from the area during the times and dates indicated.<\/p>\n<p>W-517 is an irregular shaped polygon comprising of 14,000 nautical square miles of airspace that begins south of Guam and extends south-southwest in international waters. W-517 supports surface and aerial gunnery, missiles, and laser exercises.
