{"id":178258,"date":"2014-09-04T04:00:12","date_gmt":"2014-09-03T18:00:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=178258"},"modified":"2014-09-04T04:00:12","modified_gmt":"2014-09-03T18:00:12","slug":"nbg-donates-feds-feed-families-campaign","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/nbg-donates-feds-feed-families-campaign\/","title":{"rendered":"NBG donates to the Feds Feed Families campaign"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SANTA RITA, Guam\u2014Approximately 600 lbs of food and $4,500 was donated to local nonprofit organizations as part of the Feds Feed Families Campaign on Sept. 3.<\/p>\n<p>Deliveries were made to Kamalen Karidat and the Salvation Army on behalf of service members, federal employees and their families. Jason Turner, U.S. Naval Base Guam chaplain. \u201cWe all need a little help from time to time, and when we can recognize that, step up to that, what a fantastic movement to be a part of.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>The Feds Feed Families campaign was launched in June and ended on Aug. 31. Drop boxes were located in various locations on NBG including the NEX, Charles King Fitness Center, Commissary, and chapel. <\/p>\n<p>A previous donation was made in conjunction with this year\u2019s campaign.
