{"id":178743,"date":"2014-09-10T04:00:28","date_gmt":"2014-09-09T18:00:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=178743"},"modified":"2014-09-10T04:00:28","modified_gmt":"2014-09-09T18:00:28","slug":"scc-hold-social-media-workshop-next-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/scc-hold-social-media-workshop-next-week\/","title":{"rendered":"SCC to hold social media workshop next week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Saipan Chamber of Commerce is hosting a three-hour workshop that will focus on social media for CNMI businesses next Tuesday, Sept. 16, from 9am to 12pm at the Marianas Business Plaza, Suite 315.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop will focus on helping businesses use social media to find new customers and update existing customers regarding promotions and events.<\/p>\n<p>The registration fee for SCC members is $15; for non-members, it is $25. Seating is limited to 25 participants.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGet up-to-date on all the trending topics on social media and the benefits of using this tool to improve business from local experts,\u201d SCC executive director Jill Arenovski said.<\/p>\n<p>Arenovski said that social media is changing businesses, from selling to connecting with the audience, from large campaigns to small acts, from controlling the message to transparency, and from hard-to-reach to available everywhere.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMore businesses than ever are devoting an increasing amount of resources into social media marketing.
