{"id":178744,"date":"2014-09-10T04:00:36","date_gmt":"2014-09-09T18:00:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=178744"},"modified":"2014-09-10T04:00:36","modified_gmt":"2014-09-09T18:00:36","slug":"public-can-now-view-ovr-state-plan-rsa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/public-can-now-view-ovr-state-plan-rsa\/","title":{"rendered":"Public can now view OVR state plan on RSA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The CNMI Office of Vocational Rehabilitation Services state plan can now be viewed by the public through the website of its federal grantor, the Rehabilitation Services Administration.<\/p>\n<p>In a letter to CNMI OVR director Arlene Yamagata, U.S. Department of Education Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services-RSA Commissioner Janet LaBreck said that OVR\u2019s state plan will be reviewed until it is ready to be published by RSA.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRSA acknowledges your electronic submission of the state plan, in the form of a preprint of affirmative assurances and required attachments, was reviewed to ensure conformity with statutory provisions of the Act,\u201d LaBreck stated.<\/p>\n<p>Labreck also stated RSA will make CNMI grant awards available soon. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe approved OVR state plan will be published by RSA and available to the general public on RSA\u2019s website. Those who are interested can visit the website,\u201d she stated. <\/p>\n<p>OVR\u2019s state plan was approved after numerous public consultations.
