Wiseman recently held a special ceremony to present a plaque of appreciation to his judicial assistant, Vivian S. (Contributed Photo)\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>Dela Cruz\u2019s career with the judge encompasses 17 years as his secretary in his law office and more than 13 years as a judicial assistant while he has been on the bench. <\/p>\n<p>At the special occasion\u2014which was attended by family, judges, and court staff\u2014the judge extended his \u201cmost sincere appreciation and gratitude to Vivian S. Dela Cruz for her three decades of dedicated, competent, and loyal service.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dela Cruz expressed her appreciation of her long-term employment with Wiseman. \u201cI am very thankful for having the opportunities he has afforded me. Words cannot express how blessed and how appreciative my husband, family, and I are to have such a wonderful boss in my life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dela Cruz was only 18 years old when she started working as Wiseman\u2019s secretary. She and her husband, Edward Dela Cruz, have three children\u2014Edward Jr., Daphne, and Remedio\u2014all born during her employment and for whom the judge and his wife, Faythe, are godparents.<em> (NMI Judiciary)<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Superior Court Judge David A.
