{"id":179761,"date":"2014-09-22T04:00:43","date_gmt":"2014-09-21T18:00:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=179761"},"modified":"2014-09-22T04:00:43","modified_gmt":"2014-09-21T18:00:43","slug":"guam-army-natl-guard-training-take-place","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/guam-army-natl-guard-training-take-place\/","title":{"rendered":"Guam Army Nat\u2019l Guard training to take place"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Guam Army National Guard\u2019s will hold monthly training assembly or drill, on Sept. 26, 27, and 28.<\/p>\n<p>All Army Guard training events had been postponed earlier this month due to a budgetary shortfall nationwide; however, Congress recently approved the reprogramming of funds to support the scheduled monthly training of soldiers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are pleased that we can execute this training opportunity to ensure that our soldiers remain ready and trained to respond to missions at home and abroad,\u201d said Maj. Gen. Benny M.
