{"id":180212,"date":"2014-09-26T04:00:29","date_gmt":"2014-09-25T18:00:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=180212"},"modified":"2014-09-26T04:00:29","modified_gmt":"2014-09-25T18:00:29","slug":"jury-deliberations-roberto-case-enters-8th-day-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/jury-deliberations-roberto-case-enters-8th-day-today\/","title":{"rendered":"Jury deliberations in Roberto case enters its 8th day today"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With still no verdict reached yesterday in the jury trial of Raymond Borja Roberto, the 12 federal court jurors are going to resume their deliberations today, Friday, the eighth day.<\/p>\n<p>The jurors are going to decide whether the 41-year-old Roberto is guilty or not of three counts of enticement of a minor to engage in prostitution and one count of witness tampering. <\/p>\n<p>The jurors were excused late afternoon yesterday and ordered to resume their deliberations today, Friday, at 8am.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday, the U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office requested the court to allow them file documents under seal. Assistant U.S. attorney Ross K. Naughton said the documents concern a sensitive matter regarding the jury deliberations in this case.<\/p>\n<p>U.S. District Court for the NMI designated judge David O.
