{"id":180226,"date":"2014-09-26T04:00:42","date_gmt":"2014-09-25T18:00:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=180226"},"modified":"2014-09-26T04:00:42","modified_gmt":"2014-09-25T18:00:42","slug":"3-day-term-machete-wielding-woman","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/3-day-term-machete-wielding-woman\/","title":{"rendered":"3-day term for machete-wielding woman"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Superior Court Associate Judge Teresa Kim-Tenorio has slapped a three-day prison term against a woman who grabbed a machete and screamed at a man in As Perdido and assaulted the latter\u2019s sister over a text message telling her to stop talking. <\/p>\n<p>At a hearing on Tuesday, Kim-Tenorio sentenced Binar Sambile to six months in prison, all suspended except for three days of time served, for assault and battery.<\/p>\n<p>Kim-Tenorio ordered the 51-year-old Sambile to complete a 50-hour community service and pay a $100 fine, $25 in court costs, and $100 in probation fees.<\/p>\n<p>Sambile pleaded guilty as part of a plea deal. The disturbing the peace charge was dropped. <\/p>\n<p>She was represented by assistant public defender Benjamin Petersburg.<\/p>\n<p>According to the plea agreement, on Aug. 10, 2014, Sambile pushed her finger on Tashina V.
