Titled What We Really Think, the documentary is directed by Barbara Sher and features Marianas High School students as the cast and Galvin Deleon Guerrero as the videographer. The documentary will be shown at the American Memorial Park on Oct. 17, at 7pm. It&#8217;s free and open to the public. (PR)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marines to train at Warning Area 517<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>ASAN, Guam\u2014The U.S. Marines will conduct training at Warning Area 517 during the following times:<\/p>\n<p>-Oct. 3 from 9am to noon and 1-4pm<\/p>\n<p>-Oct. 6 from 8am to 4pm and 6-10pm<\/p>\n<p>The general public especially fishermen, commercial pilots and marine tour operators are advised to stay clear of the area during the times and dates indicated.<\/p>\n<p>W-517 is an irregular shaped polygon comprised of 14,000 nautical square miles of airspace that begins south of Guam and extends south-southwest in international waters. W-517 supports surface and aerial gunnery, missiles, and laser exercises. This will affect fishing in the vicinity of Santa Rosa Reef and Galvez Bank. W-517 is contained within the following coordinates: 13\u00b0 10&#8243;N\/144\u00b0 30&#8243;E, 13\u00b0 10&#8243;N\/144\u00b0 42&#8243;E, 12\u00b0 50&#8243;N\/144\u00b0 45&#8243;E, 11\u00b0 00&#8243;N\/144\u00b0 45&#8243;E, 11\u00b0 00&#8243;N\/143\u00b0 00&#8243;E, 11\u00b0 45&#8243;N\/143\u00b0 00&#8243;E, 12\u00b0 50&#8243;N\/144\u00b0 30&#8243;E.<\/p>\n<p><strong>FOA membership meeting on Oct. 14<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Friends of the Arts will hold its first membership meeting of the year on Oct. 14, 6:30pm to 9pm, at the Canton Chinese Restaurant, across from the Mobil\/McDonald\u2019s in Garapan. \u00a0Members and supporters of FOA are invited to attend. (FOA)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Task Force 70 to hold change of command ceremony<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>ASAN, Guam\u2014Task Force 70 is scheduled to hold a change of command ceremony on board USS George Washington (CVN 73) on Oct. 5. During this time-honored Navy tradition, Rear Adm. Mark Montgomery will be relieved as commander of Task Force 70 by Rear Adm. John Alexander. Task Force 70 is the battle force for U.S. 7th Fleet. Commander, Task Force 70 has operation control of all carrier strike groups and independently deployed cruisers, destroyers and frigates that deploy or transit the 7th Fleet area of operations. The commander also serves as Commander, Carrier Strike Group 5, centered on George Washington, and the embarked Carrier Air Wing 5.
