Eloy S. Inos issued an \u201cAll Clear\u201d announcement for the islands of Saipan, Tinian, and Rota as Typhoon Vongfong moves away from the CNMI. <\/p>\n<p>Inos, however, continues to urge residents to be cautious, as emergency crews will be assessing damage as a result of wind gusts and rain. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur crews are working around the islands assessing any damage that may have occurred as a result of this storm,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The governor added that all government operations will resume tomorrow morning; however as a precaution, all classes for the Public School System are suspended tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur Homeland Security &amp; Emergency Management Office will continue to monitor the activity of Typhoon Vongfong throughout the day, and give you more updates as soon as they become available.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After being closed early in the morning, some business establishments began opening late morning and by lunchtime.<\/p>\n<p>As of 2:30pm, Typhoon Vongfong was tracked 200 miles west-northwest of Rota, 210 miles west of Tinian, and 215 miles west of Saipan<\/p>\n<p>It has maintained a speed of 21 mph as it continues to move further away from the Marianas.<\/p>\n<p>More details in tomorrow\u2019s <em>Saipan Tribune<\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gov.
