Kennedy, quoting Sotomayor, said: “We educated and privileged lawyers have a professional and moral duty to represent the underrepresented in our society, to ensure that justice exists for all, both legal and economic justice.” Accordingly, Kennedy urged the new attorneys to infuse their practices everyday with the concepts of justice, fairness, and help for others, as well as being the lawyer that they and their community can be proud of.

Jeanne Rayphand, the CNMI Bar Association secretary, presented to the Judiciary the applicants who were eligible for admission to the Bar Association because they had recently passed the required examinations to practice law in the Commonwealth. (NMI Judiciary)

The CNMI Judiciary held an attorney admissions ceremony on Friday, Oct. 3, 2014, in the…

[4
26,121,88,139
post-181166","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-local-news","tag-cnmi","tag-northern-mariana-islands","tag-superior-court","tag-supreme-court
["GET
