(PR)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Learn more about automotive trade today<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Universal Technical Institute will have a representative at Marianas High School today, Oct. 15, from 8:30am to 3pm, in the MHS Counseling Office. Students are invited to attend this presentation and hear more about careers in Automotive Trade offered at UTI. The UTI representative will be available at the Aquarius Beach Tower at 5pm to meet with parents as well. (PR)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Free business training on Rota today<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The CNMI Small Business Development Center will be offering a free business training seminar on Rota today, Oct. 15, at Rota&#8217;s Northern Marianas College (Room A-2) from 10am to 12pm. (SBDC)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Navy, Marines training on FDM tomorrow<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The U.S. Navy and U.S. Marines will conduct training at the island of Farallon de Medinilla tomorrow, Oct. 16 from 7pm to 11pm. The general public\u2014especially fishermen, commercial pilots, and marine tour operators\u2014re advised to stay clear of the area during the times and dates indicated. The general location of the training on the island of Farallon de Medinilla will be on a 10-nautical mile radius on all quadrants. (PR)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Outreach for women with bleeding disorders<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tomorrow, Oct. 16, Dr. Tiffany Lin, pediatric hematology (blood disorder) fellow at University of California at San Francisco and pediatrician at the Commonwealth Health Center, and Pam Carhill, MPT of Marianas Health\u2019s Pacific Wellness Center, will be doing outreach and education on Von Willebrand\u2019s Disease at the Thursday Street Market. Lin and Carhill will be passing out educational materials and speaking individually with persons who think they may have a child with a bleeding disorder. For any inquiries call 483-0162. (PR)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Library Association Fundraiser Oct. 17<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Commonwealth Association of Archives, Libraries and Museums is still selling tickets for its fundraising event on Oct. 17, 2014 at the Pacific Islands Club, 6pm to 9pm. (PR)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Free screening of new documentary<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Voices of the Marianas will be screening a new documentary about the making of an improvisational play. Titled What We Really Think, the documentary is directed by Barbara Sher and features Marianas High School students as the cast and Galvin Deleon Guerrero as the videographer. The documentary will be shown at the American Memorial Park on Oct. 17, at 7pm. It&#8217;s free and open to the public. (PR)<\/p>\n<p><strong>SDA School to host bowling tournament<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Saipan SDA School will be hosting its first Bowling Tournament on Oct. 19, 2014, at the Saipan Bowling Center at J\u2019s Restaurant. There will be cash prizes of $120 for first place; $100 for second place; and $80 for third place. Registration starts at 1pm; games start at 1:30pm. Tickets cost $15.
