{"id":182510,"date":"2014-10-21T04:00:32","date_gmt":"2014-10-20T18:00:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=182510"},"modified":"2014-10-21T04:00:32","modified_gmt":"2014-10-20T18:00:32","slug":"christmas-exhibit-november-local-artists-encouraged-join","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/christmas-exhibit-november-local-artists-encouraged-join\/","title":{"rendered":"Christmas exhibit in November; local artists encouraged to join"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Department of Community and Cultural Affairs\u2019 Commonwealth Council for Arts and Culture will be running its Annual Christmas Exhibit during the whole month of November and artists are being encouraged to participate.<\/p>\n<p>The Christmas Exhibit will be held at the Chamolinian Utt, Garapan, from Nov. 3 to Nov. 28 and will be open from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.<br \/>\n\u201cWe are having this exhibit a month earlier to give convenient time for the public and visitors to mail out their Christmas gifts to family and friends off-island,\u201d visual\/traditional artists coordinator Feofaaki McMahon said.<\/p>\n<p>McMahon said the council is inviting registered and non-registered artists to participate in the exhibit.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would like to encourage all registered and non-registered artists to take advantage of this opportunity to showcase and sell your artworks.
