{"id":183446,"date":"2014-10-31T04:00:24","date_gmt":"2014-10-30T18:00:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=183446"},"modified":"2014-10-31T04:00:24","modified_gmt":"2014-10-30T18:00:24","slug":"ex-convict-admits-burglarizing-poker-arcade","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/ex-convict-admits-burglarizing-poker-arcade\/","title":{"rendered":"Ex-convict admits burglarizing poker arcade"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Conrad Anthony Borja Iba, a 37-year-old ex-convict, has admitted that he was behind the burglary at Shanny Laundry &#038; Poker in Chalan Kanoa in May. <\/p>\n<p>Iba pleaded guilty to burglary on Tuesday as part of a plea deal. He will be sentenced on Jan. 20, 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Under the plea deal, Iba shall be sentenced to five years, all suspended except for a range of not less than one year and not more than three years to be determined at sentencing.<\/p>\n<p>The Office of the Attorney General had charged Iba with burglary and theft.<\/p>\n<p>According to the plea deal, Iba entered Shanny Laundy &#038; Poker on May 19, 2014, with the purpose of stealing. A surveillance camera reportedly led police to identify Iba as the suspect.<\/p>\n<p>The cashier told police that someone went into the storage room of the establishment and stole coins in the amount of $469.94 that were kept in buckets. A maintenance worker discovered the coins missing the following day, May 20.<\/p>\n<p>Superior Court Associate Judge Kenneth L.
