{"id":184374,"date":"2014-11-10T04:00:49","date_gmt":"2014-11-09T18:00:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=184374"},"modified":"2014-11-10T04:00:49","modified_gmt":"2014-11-09T18:00:49","slug":"man-interrupts-bible-study-breaks-window-attacks-man","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/man-interrupts-bible-study-breaks-window-attacks-man\/","title":{"rendered":"Man interrupts Bible study,  breaks window, attacks man"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A retired police sergeant managed to subdue a man who had barged into a Bible study at Grace Christian Ministries in Kagman III, interrupted a pastor, and attacked a person on Wednesday night. <\/p>\n<p>Retired police sergeant Sylvan Rangamar held suspect Patrick Tudela Gibo in a \u201crear naked choke\u201d position until two responding police officers arrived and secured Gibo in handcuffs.<\/p>\n<p>Gibo, 36, was arrested for assault and battery, disturbing the peace, and criminal mischief. His bail was set at  $1,500 cash Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Police detective Therese S. Kintoki stated in her report that people were about to start a Bible study at Grace Christian Ministries on Wednesday at about 6:30pm to 7pm, when Gibo interrupted the pastor by standing up during the session and talking while the pastor was speaking.<\/p>\n<p>Gibo asked the pastor to pray for him, which the people did. After the prayer, Gibo went outside to get some fresh air and water but returned after a few minutes with a fire extinguisher.
