{"id":185357,"date":"2014-11-19T04:00:16","date_gmt":"2014-11-18T18:00:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=185357"},"modified":"2014-11-19T04:00:16","modified_gmt":"2014-11-18T18:00:16","slug":"jeju-air-may-eased-asiana-suspension","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/jeju-air-may-eased-asiana-suspension\/","title":{"rendered":"Jeju Air may have eased Asiana suspension"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With the arrival of Jeju Airlines, the seven-day suspension of Asiana Airlines from Oct. 14 to 20 last month may have not have hit so hard.<\/p>\n<p>Marianas Visitors Authority managing director Perry Tenorio earlier said the loss to the CNMI of this suspension would be about $6.7 million based on a load factor of 80 percent.<\/p>\n<p>As to whether losses last month reached this figure, Tenorio said the MVA is unfortunately not privy to the actual economic activity of the month in question.<\/p>\n<p>He said MVA\u2019s economic impact projections are based on weighted averages of various variables by source country.
