\nRoman \u201cSonic Boom\u201d Alvarez hopes to avenge his stablemates and snatch the featherweight title from Rob \u201cThe Real Deal Wusstig when they collide in the main event of Trench Warz 18: Rock & Rumble on Dec. 12.<\/p>\n

Organizers are trying to secure the venue for Trench Tech\u2019s final event for the year.<\/p>\n

The Alvarez-Wusstig match is one of the three title bouts in next month\u2019s competition, which has a tentative list of five undercard fights.<\/p>\n

Wusstig will be making his second defense of the 145-lb. belt after dethroning former champion Shane \u201cPikaboo\u201d Alvarez in Trench Warz 15: Supremacy by split decision on Dec. 11, 2011. The Countershot MMA fighter successfully defended his featherweight title with a second-round technical knockout of Jessie Fasi two years ago.<\/p>\n

Roman and Shane are first cousins and are both Trench Tech fighters like Fasi.<\/p>\n

Roman is still undefeated after three fights, two of which were recorded in the Pacific Xtreme Combat. He scored a knockout win by head kick against Jay Taijeron in the first round of their bout in last year\u2019s PXC 40 and then earned a unanimous decision win over McKlane Alfred in PXC 42 early this year.<\/p>\n

Wusstig holds a 4-7 mark but has not fought since suffering a unanimous decision loss to Nate Quiniola Thorell in PXC 36 last year. That was his second straight defeat as he also lost to Mark Striegl by submission scarf hold armlock with 1:38 left in the first round in PXC 33 in 2012.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, in the two other title fights, Juggernaut Fight Club\u2019s Will \u201cThe Kill\u201d Chope will take on Trench Tech and Rites of Passage veteran Jose \u201cYoung Blood\u201d Ramirez of Guam in a lightweight superfight bout, while Guam\u2019s Rocky \u201cRock Star\u201d Quichocho will face Japan\u2019s Tiger \u201cBukake\u201d Yatsui for the heavyweight title.<\/p>\n

The undercard bouts will have Guam Muay Thai teammates Dino \u201cNHB\u201d Cruz, Eric \u201cGatti\u201d Gatman and Mike Picini facing Travis \u201cFlyingman\u201d Eubanks, John Tudela and Ben Flores, respectively, while Josh \u201cChaos\u201d Duenas clashes with Ernie Santos.<\/p>\n

Trench Tech founder and fight promoter Cuki Alvarez is still looking for \u201cShiska\u201d Bob Alvarez\u2019s opponent in a 155-lb bout.<\/p>\n
