Ayuyu has been approved as an owner\/operator for the two McDonald\u2019s restaurants on Saipan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMarcia has worked in the business with her husband and partner, Joe, since the beginning when the first McDonald\u2019s restaurant opened on March 18, 1993. Her passion for QSC and people is evident in the restaurants and in the community. She is humble, yet her accomplishments are many,\u201d said Kaneko.<\/p>\n<p>In 2012, Ayuyu was recognized as the Saipan Chamber of Commerce Business Person of the Year and, in 2013, she was awarded the \u201cStar Rotarian\u201d for being the most involved Rotary member in the community. Since 2005, Ayuyu has been a major sponsor of the \u201cMcDonald\u2019s All School Track &amp; Field Competition,\u201d which involves all public schools.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is just one example among many of how Marcia builds the brand for McDonald\u2019s system in her community.
