(Contributed Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Zapanta, fresh from helping the CNMI men\u2019s four-member team to an eighth place finish in last month\u2019s 28th Asian Intercity Bowling Championships in the Philippines, opened with a 213 to sit at third behind the 224 and 220 of Paul Pangelinan and Raymond Angeles, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Zapanta, who booked his spot in next year\u2019s finals, followed it up with a 199 before closing out with a 206 and 201 for his more than 800 pinfalls.<\/p>\n<p>Perennial men\u2019s contender Percy Omechelang was 51 pinfalls behind to finish second with 768\u2014202, 180, 171, 215. He averaged 192 and brought home the $40 cash prize that goes with his runner-up finish. Omechelang, despite failing to nail his fourth monthly crown, has already booked his place in the January finale as he previously won in June, July, and October.<\/p>\n<p>Lito Teodoro finished third and got $25 after a 748\u2014194, 164, 162, 228.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Camacho topped the Queen of the Lanes with a day\u2019s best of 715 or 42 pins ahead of last month\u2019s winner Gloria Omechelang.<\/p>\n<p>Camacho, who was the CNMI\u2019s top female bowler in the San Juan edition of the annual Asian Intercity tournament, pocketed $80. She also ruled the June, July and September roll-offs.<\/p>\n<p>Carrie Camacho managed to catch up with Omechelang (188, 199, 148, 138) as they ended up tied for second to third with 673s.
