MANGLONA II)<\/figcaption><\/figure><br \/>\nAccording to Deacon James Balajadia, the event featured sports, youth sacrament, confession, a cemetery cleanup, vocation presentations, and Bible talks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am glad that they have this and I am happy to be a part of it,\u201d Balajadia said. \u201cI hope for it to continue in the years to come.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The deacon said it was inspiring to see how many youth attended the camp with the thirst to know Jesus more and learn more about the testimony of the Gospel.<\/p>\n<p>One attendee, Miller Bundoc, said he attended the camp for another year to bond with his parish sisters and brothers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the short two days we spent together, I bonded with people I do not normally talk with. This camp have definitely changed my perspective on a lot of things,\u201d the Mount Carmel student told Saipan Tribune. \u201cThis strengthens my faith and belief in the Gospel. I hope that more people come each year.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It was San Vicente altar server Maria Dizon\u2019s first time to camp out with fellow youth parishioners. She said the youth often feel that they are far from God\u2019s word.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cComing here gives all of us the opportunity to come and bond together no matter what parish they are from,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Baby Kano, a long-time parishioner, said she makes time to chaperone the youth campers each year to see them interact religiously. \u201cThis is really all about the youth.
