Eloy S. Inos established a transition committee to effectuate the transition to the incoming administration composed of himself as governor-elect and lieutenant governor-elect, Senate President Ralph DLG. Torres (R-Saipan).<\/p>\n<p>In a memo to all departments dated Dec. 9, 2014, Inos wrote, \u201cI have established a Committee on Transition (Transition Committee) under the Office of the Governor-Elect, to provide for the orderly transition for the incoming Inos-Torres administration.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Inos said he appointed Gregorio M. Camacho to serve as the chairman of the transition committee and ordered that information be made readily available to him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAccess to information must be made readily available by the head of each department, board, commission, instrumentality, independent entity, including any government corporation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo ensure a smooth timely transition review, please designate an adequate work area for the committee to conduct their business,\u201d added Inos in his memo.<\/p>\n<p>In related news, Inos also issued a hiring freeze effective immediately to all government departments and agencies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll personnel actions including, but not limited to, change in salary compensation and re-allocations, shall be frozen until further notice,\u201d Inos wrote in a memo also issued yesterday, Dec. 9, 2014. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As promised, Gov.
